Designed to monitor ambient sulfur dioxide (SO2) near industrial processes, in confined spaces, or any other area where SO2 may be present. The Nova 560 Series Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) alarm monitors are designed for the continuous detection of SO2 in ambient air. The SO2 sensor is capable of excursions over 100 PPM with no damage. The SO2 sensor is of the disposable electrochemical type with an expected life of between 2-3 years. The sensor needs no warm up time and is ready to go as soon as the monitor is turned on.
The 'DR' models are configured such that the chlorine sensor(s) are mounted outside of, and electrically connected to, the main cabinet (max distance between remote sensor & main cabinet - 50ft). This allows allows SO2 monitoring of single or multiple remote zones, with centralized display and alarming features. The remote sensors are the diffusion type, with no pump or moving parts.
Optional dual level alarm with local indication, relay contacts, and audible alert available. Alarm set points are pre-set at Nova but are field adjustable if desired. Flashing strobe light and upgraded cabinets also available.
